Urban Garden Art Forum
This year's edition Urban Garden Art Forum under the slogan "Redecorating the cities" perfectly fits in with the latest trends in urban space management. The speakers were both city activists, managers of urban green areas and landscape architects.
The agenda covered such topics as: the camapign against concrete in cities, innovative ways of introducing greenery into cities, the retention function of green roofs, revitalization activities in Poznań or temporary gardens. One of the speakers was Bartosz Byczkowski, with the topic "Is it possible to introduce greenery to a modern city?". Contemporary cities in the face of climate change, an excess of vehicles, smog and deteriorating living conditions of their inhabitants still provide the opportunity to introduce greenery to cities. Is a tree really more important to us than a parking space under the house, an optical fiber (internet) in the apartment and a bicycle path? Bartosz answered these questions in his speech.
